THE POD STUDENT SHOWCASE

This is an opportunity for our students to SHINE! Every December, a dedicated group of hard-working students spend 8 weeks learning and perfecting their skills to create our end-of-the-year Student Showcase performance. Whether performing in a solo, duo, or group piece, these students create some truly beautiful art.

REGISTRATION: 10/5-10/11

Your 8 weeks of rehearsal time begins the week of October 12th

-Each student/group will be able to select their mentor (available instructors listed below).

-3 minute maximum for song selection

- The only requirements for participation are that you have completed our Intro to Pole Series and must currently be taking regular classes at The Pod.

*Non-refundable registration fee of $25 required to hold your spot (it will be applied towards the final total of $255).

For duo acts, each student must pay a registration fee, but can split the $230 showcase fee.

Relevant Information

The 2025 Pod Student Showcase will take place on December 13th. But there is a lot of prep work leading up to that date! Each showcase student has either class prep or private lessons as well as (2) Dress Rehearsals prior to the Showcase to get them feeling prepared and confident to perform.

Financial Commitment

We aim to keep the investment cost as low as possible for participation in the Student Showcase. Whether you are performing a solo, duo, or group number, the cost the same across the board.

Total cost to participate is $255, broken into two or four payments, whichever works best for the performer. The first payment is $25, which is your non-refundable commitment registration fee, letting us know you are committed to perform. Then you can either pay the remaining $230 in a lump sum or break that into three payments of $76.67.

*For duo acts: each performer must pay the $25 registration fee, but the $230 showcase fee can be split between the two performers.

What's Included

Showcase packages are broken into two categories: Solo/Duo or Group.

-Solo/Duo Acts:

Each performer in this category receives (1) 30 minute consultation with their mentor to plan out their act, (2) 60 min private lessons, unlimited open pole prep time during the 8 week period, and discounts on additional private lessons.

-Group Acts: Each performer will practice with a group of 3-4 other people once per week in an instructor led class (over the course of 8 weeks) to create a group choreography, using the pole, chair and floorwork.

Both packages also include: 2 dress rehearsals and 1 live performance at the studio.

All performers receive two tickets with their registration to give to friends and family members.

*Additional tickets are limited, but available for a small fee.
